jacqui Pearson
Executive Producer & Co-Founder
Jacqui Pearson co-founded Left Post Productions with Saki Bergh in 2006, establishing it not just as a post house, but as a creative space where ideas could truly come to life. Over nearly two decades, she has helped grow Left from a boutique edit suite into a full-service studio offering editing, VFX, and colour grading — consistently recognised as one of South Africa’s top post facilities with multiple Loeries #1 rankings.
With a background in producing and a natural instinct for storytelling, Jacqui blends creativity with pragmatism — balancing ambitious ideas with real-world budgets, tight timelines, and evolving client needs. She has overseen award-winning commercials, high-profile music videos, and acclaimed feature work such as The Umbrella Men, always ensuring that the final product resonates with rhythm, emotion, and authenticity.
At the heart of her leadership is a people-first philosophy. Jacqui believes in cultivating a studio culture defined by curiosity, humour, and collaboration — a space where talent is nurtured, ideas are celebrated, and experimentation is encouraged.
Outside of Left, she is a yoga teacher, trail runner, food enthusiast, and mom. These passions ground her approach and shape her vision of Left as a living, breathing creative hub — one that reflects both her values and her drive to craft extraordinary work.
