Your project stays intact from start to finish.
-
All PostCore machines connect to shared central storage over 10-Gigabit Ethernet.
This allows:
High-throughput media access
Large projects to stay in one place
Multiple editors to work from the same source media
No duplication or syncing delays
One project. One storage location.
Media remains inside the facility at all times.
-
To reduce risk and keep storage clean:
Project media is retained for 7 days after the booking ends.
After that:
Data is automatically deleted
Or long-term storage can be arranged separately
This keeps projects secure, contained, and compliant.
-
This storage is managed, with a focus on:
Access auditing – we can track who accessed project data and when
Controlled permissions – access is granted only to approved users
Project isolation – each production is kept separate and contained
This ensures your media stays secure, traceable, and protected at all times.
-
Not everyone needs the same level of access.
We apply permission-based access to storage:
Editors receive read/write access only to their assigned project
Additional users can be limited to read-only access where appropriate
No open folders or shared free-for-all environments
This reduces mistakes, prevents accidental deletions, and keeps projects organised. description
Secure Remote Access
-
Editors connect to their assigned Mac using secure remote access.
Encrypted sessions
Controlled user access
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
No direct exposure of storage to the public internet
Remote access is designed for responsiveness while maintaining strict control over where media lives
-
If your workflow requires it, your own cloud storage (such as Drive, Dropbox, or similar services) can be connected inside the hosted workstation.
This means:
No direct syncing from personal laptops
No unmanaged file transfers
No sharing login details across team members
Your cloud account lives inside the secure environment, not on individual machines.
